Corporate Action
Because the negative effects of pollution so greatly trail the initial action, it is sometimes argued that private industries have no incentive to act in an environmentally responsible way. However, this is only true if the general public carries this same indifference. If we as citizens demand our businesses to be environmentally-conscious, and if we express our opinions with both our voices and our pocketbooks, corporations have an immediate incentive to change their practices.
We hope to provide more information about how companies can become more environmentally-friendly, sometimes without even reducing their own profit. They just need a voice to tell them what their customers really want.
